QPS Employment Group is hiring a Panel Wire Technician for a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Panel Wire Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and sub-assemblies
- Install components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, PLCs, and power supplies
- Route, bundle, and secure wiring to meet quality and safety standards
- Label wires and components accurately per specifications
- Perform point-to-point wiring and continuity testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or assembly issues
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues
Panel Wire Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- 1-3+ years of panel wiring or electrical assembly experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Basic understanding of electrical components and systems
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
