Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25-$30/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3pm-11pm
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation of printing equipment and facility systems. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure smooth and efficient production. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively with the production team. This is a direct hire opportunity in Hartland, WI.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on printing presses, finishing equipment, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment
- Respond quickly to equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new printing or finishing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance or repair of industrial or printing equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Dependable, flexible, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
