QPS Employment Group has a great Blender position available in Saint Francis, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Blender Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Accurately weigh and measure raw ingredients using scales and batch sheets.
- Follow detailed blending formulas and production instructions.
- Operate blending equipment and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Verify ingredient lot numbers and ensure correct materials are used.
- Record batch information and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards at all times.
- Assist with staging ingredients and moving materials within the production area.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between batches.
- Support quality checks to ensure consistency and product standards are met.
- Work closely with Quality and Production teams to meet daily production goals.
Blender Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written formulas and batch sheets.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals, weights).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience a plus (if applicable).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently (occasionally more with team lift).
- Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Ability to work in environments with spices and strong aromas.
- Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing setting.
