Assembly Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect components and identify damaged or worn parts.
- Polish seal surface areas to meet quality standards.
- Assemble main shaft assemblies for production technicians.
- Stage pre-assembled units and components for production use.
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including proper disposal of worn parts.
- Cross-train in other shop areas and assist with additional duties as needed.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Assembly Technician Requirements:
- Basic automotive or mechanical skills required.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple shop areas.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as needed.
- Ability to bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment.
