Packager Responsibilities:Â
Ensuring machine is labeling and filling bottles of pills properly.
Placing filled bottles into boxes by hand.
Monitoring the machine to ensure caps are placed on bottles correctly.
Performing visual inspection of products as they move along the conveyor belt.
Removing defective products from the line.
Taping and labeling packages.
Palletizing finished packages.
Requirements for Packager:
High School Diploma required.
Knowledge of GMP’s preferred.
Previous experience working in a food environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Able to work effectively with various departments.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to lift 30–40 pounds throughout the day.
Push and pull up to 100 pounds as needed.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Stand and walk up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to reach across conveyor belts.
Must be able to work on a conveyor belt.
Frequent bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting (up to 10 hours per day).
