QPS Employment Group has a great immediate 2nd shift Assembler position at one of Rockford’s leading manufacturers. This position has the opportunity for hire.Â
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret schematics and work instructions.
- Set up jobs and equipment for production runs.
- Assemble hydraulic units by hand and with power tools.
- Test assemblies to verify performance and quality standards.
- Prepare parts for assembly.
- Package and/or carton finished products for shipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
- Work collaboratively in a team-based production environment.
Assembler Requirements:
- Strong attendance record.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to set up jobs and equipment independently.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
- Must be able to bend, twist, reach, kneel, and stoop regularly.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements.
