We’re hiring Assemblers to support the production of electronic and mechanical cable assemblies on 1st shift in Cedar Rapids, IA. If you have strong attention to detail, can read technical drawings, and enjoy working with your hands, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Assembly Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to complex on electrical and mechanical components
- Follow written instructions, wiring diagrams, sketches and drawings to complete work accurately
- Use manual and semi-automatic crimping tools for cable and wire terminations
- Operate hand and power tools as needed during the assembly process
- Meet daily production goals while ensuring product quality and safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized work area
Requirements for Assembly:
- 2-3 years of prior assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, tape measures (to 1/8”), and work instructions
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs as needed
