QPS Employment Group has a great Assembler position at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Peeling protective plastic off of materials coming into facility.
- Utilizing pallet jack to move materials throughout the production and warehouse areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Prepare area for new materials.
- Maintain exemplary housekeeping in the warehouse.
- Communicate with the Service Manager, Parts Coordinator, and Purchasing & Materials Manager if there are any issues.
- Hang Parts in Powder Coating Area.
- Maintain smart and safe work practices at all times.
- Assist delivery drivers as needed.
Assembler Requirements:
- Vision requirements.
- Standing throughout your entire shift.
- Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, repeatedly throughout shift.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms throughout shift.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. on occasion throughout shift.
- Lifting between 10-20 lbs. frequently throughout shift.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to co-workers.
- Ability to work in different climates for the duration of shift.
