QPS Employment Group has a great Industrial Cleaner position available at a company in Troy, MO. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Industrial Cleaner Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform assigned cleaning and production support tasks according to Work Instructions (WIS).
- Follow safety requirements including PPE, JHA guidance, and Lockout/Tagout awareness.
- Report hazards, unsafe acts, or equipment issues immediately.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and support 5S standards.
- Follow direction from the Team Leader and Group Leader and ask questions when uncertain.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and correctly after training.
- Meet quality and productivity expectations for assigned tasks.
- Participate in shift huddles and safety discussions.
- Complete documentation and checklists as required.
- Support team success by helping others when assigned work is complete.
- Engage in continuous improvement ideas using SAVE concepts (Safer, Faster, Easier).
- Participate in training and skills development activities.
- Practice good attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain positive communication and teamwork.
Industrial Cleaner Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and work safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
- Reliable and punctual work habits.
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial experience preferred.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or basic visual work systems preferred.
- Experience working in automotive manufacturing environments preferred.
