Position Title: Spray Booth Operator
Wage: $26.84/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:45pm-10:45pm Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Spray Booth Operator for a company in Wentzville, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Spray Booth Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch, clean, and paint truck beds, surfaces, utilizing all types of painting materials such as primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes
- Tape, sand, repair, and apply texturing layers on a variety of surfaces
- Clear understanding of how to operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, sprayers, robotic spray guns, and pumps, etc.
- Safely store and label all materials; keep records and submit reports of work
- Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes
- Read, understand, and communicate clearly work instructions
- Understand acceptable spray patters, clogged mix chambers and tips
- Understand tolerances of spray equipment and bed liner build tolerances
- Spray bed liner using manual application equipment in the event of robotic failures, or repairs
- Other duties may be assigned
Spray Booth Operator Requirements:
- Familiar with TS and ISO requirements
- Knowledge of Robots and Robot programming a definite asset
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Blueprint reading knowledge
- Demonstrate computer skills
- Must meet the standards of the current position
- Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid driver's license
