Position Title: Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle position available at a company in Hazelwood, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect plastic pallets for defects and determine appropriate rework or repair methods.
- Repair, rework, and refurbish defective plastic pallets to meet company quality standards.
- Break down damaged or unusable pallets for recycling or disposal.
- Operate a forklift to transport pallets, materials, and finished products throughout the department as needed.
- Load and unload materials using a forklift when required.
- Perform manual handling of pallets, including stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support recycling, housekeeping, and general production tasks within the rework department.
Machine Operator/Forklift-Recycle Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and perform minor repairs.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
- Regularly grasp, handle, and manipulate plastic pallets and materials.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
