Position Title: CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist
Wage: $26.00 per hour + $0.50 rate differential
Shift: 2nd (will train on 1st)
Hours: 2:15pm-12:45am (Mon-Thurs)
Join a great team for a rewarding 2nd Shift CNC Machinist position! Work Monday through Thursday from 2:15 PM to 12:45 AM, with four 10-hour shifts each week. Start at $26.50/hr.
As a CNC Machinist, you'll be setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of Doosan CNC lathes and mills to create precision parts. You'll read blueprints and job orders to ensure high-quality standards, select and secure tools, and monitor machine operations for accuracy.
A minimum of 1 year of CNC experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. If you are a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, we want you on this team!

CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Setup, layout and operate various CNC lathes and/or mills) Doosan 500, Doosan 630 and 125).
- Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances and tooling instructions such as fixtures, cutting speeds, depth of cut and determines sequence of operations.
- Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder.
- Positions and secures work piece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers or fixtures.
- Moves controls to position tool and work piece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds and depth of cut.
- Sets up fixture, starts machine.
- Requires ability to read precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformity of machined work piece to specifications.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Follows all Company rules and safety policies.
- Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ yrs of previous CNC experience preferred
- Ability to add and subtract/basic math.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to 25lb.
- Ability to stand 90% of shift.
