Position Title: CNC Vertical Mill Machinist
Wage: $52,000-$62,800/year
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3pm–1am Monday-Thursday

CNC Vertical Mill Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set tooling, hold and program the machine control to manufacture precision products to quality specifications defined by blueprints in an efficient manner
- Operate CNC equipment including 5-Axis milling machines, vertical milling machines, horizontal milling machines, Lathes, Waterjet Machines, and horizontal saws
- Read and apply shop orders, drawings, and instructions to produce parts on CNC equipment
- Utilize measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain appropriate record keeping and electronic documentation
- Perform basic equipment upkeep while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
CNC Vertical Mill Machinist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a job shop CNC machining environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a wide degree of autonomy
- Strong understanding of most CNC machining tools, processes, and concepts
- Always demonstrates appropriate safety precautions and steps to prevent injury
- Ability to make a variety of parts from start to finish on his/her own, as well as inspect and check completed parts
- Proven ability to read blueprints at varying complexity to map out a plan for manufacturing complex parts
- Proven ability to program parts of varying complexity
- Demonstrates taking appropriate steps to setup the machine and run parts per the blueprint for minimal errors and scrapped parts
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and interest in learning about and contributing to individual, team, and company success
