QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Operator for a company in Clinton, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.
CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols
- Perform first-article inspections and ongoing quality checks to ensure compliance with tolerances
- Adjust programs and tooling as needed to optimize production efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
CNC Operator Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with CNC programming or editing preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed
