We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for a company in Cedar Rapids. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with the opportunity to get hired on! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently moving products within the warehouse, ensuring accurate order picking and staging, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Stand Up Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Safely operate stand up forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with precision and care
- Accurately pick and stage orders for distribution
- Maintain and update inventory records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized to promote a safe working environment
Requirements For Stand Up Forklift Operator:
- Must have 1+ years of previous recent Stand-Up Forklift experience and pass a forklift evaluation
- Candidates who only have sit-down experience will not qualify for this position
- Strong safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in cooler temperatures (34-38°F)
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Basic math and computer skills
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy loads
