QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Technician position available at a company in Roscoe, IL. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift, direct hire position.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Installation of new equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, rigging, transferring, rebuilding, and maintaining machinery as needed.
- Fabricate and/or install new or rebuilt mechanical equipment.
- Cross-train, learn and support other functions or processes as required.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Knowledge of heavy machinery safety procedures (LOTO).
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical machinery.
- Basic knowledge of machining, milling, fabricating, and welding.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
